Cosmogony is Everything…

Cosmogony is literally the BIG question – How did the Universe come into existence? Even the Big Bang’s gravitational singularity needs explaining; and theoretical physics is working on that.  A final Theory of Everything or a Quantum Gravity theory will do this. The likes of String or M theory are the current best avenues we have to answer the most fundamental questions which still remain.

Whichever theory reigns supreme has to tackle Cosmogony first!

Three paradoxes stand in the way:

1) Causality, i.e. cause and effect or the chicken and the egg. Religion’s answers when being asked “who created God?” typically fail immediately here. Science is now finding answers in this most important arena. For example quantum fluctuations of nothingness. Hawking is working on geometric theories in this area. I have a geometric theory of this myself, which also explains (2) & (3). Please email me at the address above if you’re interested (as it is too long for this post).

2) The conservation laws, specifically Energy – how do we get something from nothing? Baryon Asymmetry’s explanation would explain this.

3) Infinite regression – what created the Big Bang’s singularity or what created God? We cannot keep going backwards. This ties in nicely with (1).

Whatever satisfies these three paradoxes would be a very good candidate towards a quantum gravity theory. However it would need to make predictions and be falsifiable like any good theory.

The book I am currently writing – “Is god A Vegetable – Atheist Adventures Conquering The Cosmogonal creator” (lower case god/creator is intentional for good reason), will explore this in much more depth.
